Frequently Asked Questions

This is entirely up to you. At SIS Truck Driving School, we’ll keep working with you until you can pass the CDL test. Your course will be completed once you have acquired the necessary skills to drive a commercial truck. Your course may last from 2 weeks up to three months, depending on how well-versed you are in driving. When drivers pass their driving test, we typically train them for one month.
Without a doubt not. We will train you until you obtain your CDL from the DMV.
As a practical truck driving school, we instruct you on how to operate heavy trucks on a real road. Although we can give you written materials to read, a classroom setting with lectures is not something we offer. At SIS Truck Driving School, we want you to get to be knowledgeable about heavy trucks and understand how to drive and operate them. After passing the written CDL test, you can enroll in our training program, or you can enroll in it while you’re still reading CDL-related material.
We instruct students on open roads on Saturdays. The truck is driven, operated, and maneuvered on actual roads by the students in rotation with the other trainees.
